Thanksgiving Week

Hey Loves,
I know I promised to do more blogposts and have really been slacking!  But today I want to talk about a really important topic and that's explaining CROSS-CONTAMINATION to your loved ones so they don't just think you're I'll be honest sometimes my older sister thinks I am!  Yes almost any food sensitivity/autoimmune response can be caused from cross contamination and no one wants to intentionally get us sick right?  But they need to fully understand just how sick we can get from using the same pan's they've used for something we can't have...even cleaning it 100 times can't get rid of that exposure.  Just look at this article on Cross Contamination!  So this year when you're trying to not get sick and really fully enjoy the holidays just send them a link to this article and get ready to have a sense of calm come over you so they can finally understand just how REAL Cross-Contamination is!

Another big issue around the holidays includes making our favorite dishes into Gluten Free options and I'm about to create an E-book over the next month with some of my favorite recipes...done up the Gluten Free Way so look for that!  In the meantime I always recommend visiting for amazing Gluten Free recipes and I know I'll be making this on Wednesday

Enjoy your Thanksgiving if you celebrate (and you're in the US) and I'll be back next month with a lot more great blogposts for 2016 my biggest goal is to WRITE more!

Until then XOXO!

Post GFAF Expo (NJ) Summary with some amazing Gluten Free FINDS!

Well this weekend was AWESOME!  Saturday we had my favorite event of the year, yes I'm not even exaggerating as someone that's both Gluten & Dairy Free this is the event I look forward to every year because of all the delicious food I can eat!  I'm super excited to have made some great connections at the expo.  I even received some items to write reviews about which is awesome!  It was also a great opportunity to meet new Gluten Free Friends in the area!

By attending the event I found 5 great new brands I wasn't that familiar with!

Some of my favorite new brands I was only a little familiar with before the event but now am obsessed with are:  SweetNote Bagels (I love their pumpkin bagels)...half of my bagels I got from the event are already year i'll be buying a truckload of bagels thank you...they're THAT good!

I found a delicious brownie made from black beans with maple syrup as their sweetener so I'm all about them!  Love Pure Genius because how healthy and delicious their products are it is PURE Genius!  They also make blondes!

Another great brand I really enjoyed learning more about was Sweet Megan, I love their cake pops with cookie dough!

I'm sort of obsessed with a company I wasn't even that aware of before the event:  Natural Contents Kitchen!
I love their lemony Squash cupcakes!  They're definitely addictive and delicious!

Hey everyone,
I just realized my post from 9/8 didn't post so here is the one you all missed:  Yeah I missed a week but I'm BACK!  I'm going to describe my ideal clients frustrations, where they hang out, and what they want most in their life, etc.  I'd love for you to comment with answers to these questions if you feel called:

What do you guys want to know about Gluten Free Living?

What are the top 3 problems you have since being Gluten Free?

Coming out to my family as Gluten Free, is this a topic you'd be interested in?

GFAF Expo + Wellness Lounge

Super excited to be attending the GF AF Expo this weekend with a PLAN...yes I said it so you can all hold me accountable!  Normally I just waver around the entire incredibly awesome Expo full of over 100 vendors just meeting people and getting extra delicious yummy GF food but this year I'm working on gaining more partnerships and building better relationships with Gluten Free and healthy living brands so I can improve my gluten free tours and get my gluten free coaching off the ground FINALLY!  I just finished being the assistant for The Wellness Lounge where I did all the social media and being the ongoing support for all vendors until the day of the event.  The event went amazingly!  I love event planning!  Back to the GFAF Expo, I'd love to meet up with anyone that's reading my blog or if you have a favorite vendor that'll be there feel free to post their name below!  <3 guys="" love="" next="" p="" post="" the="" until="" you="">

CDF's and feeling good!

Hey everyone!

I decided I am going to try to post on this blog every week so I can keep better track of my life and my current CDF (Core-Desired-Feelings) which totally are feeling supported, accomplished, happy, and relaxed.  What are yours?  Feel free to leave them in the comments section!  I am definitely feeling very much supported by watching and interacting on periscope esp. Courtney Johnston's scopes!  I just added my opt-in so I'm feeling somewhat accomplished as I've been looking up ways to do it for months and now I finally did it even though its not going to go straight to mail chimp like I had wanted...better done than not!  I am very happy to have this freedom in my life even though I could definitely use a part time job (volunteer coordinator, event planning/social media, or tutor/nanny) if anyone knows of something up to 25 or so hrs a week let me know!  I am buying notebooks this week so I can start feeling much more relaxed and start being more organized and do journaling in the mornings!  I can't wait to hear all of your CDF's!  Make sure you're following me on periscope at CleanLiving!

New Home and back to BLOGGING

I'm returning to blogging to chronicle my brand new beginning moving into our FOREVER HOME in Wood-Ridge, NJ!  We just moved in on Sunday August 2nd 2015!  And we're the only Blue Townhouse currently in the community!  Love the uniqueness!  I am starting this blog as a way to connect with myself and my audience and bring about more happiness because we all deserve it!  I am going to start this blog as a collective experience capturing my daily gratitude lists, random acts of kindness, goals for accountability, and more!
Today I will start by making a gratitude list of 10 things:  1. Having a loving hubby that truly gets me, 2. Having the ONLY blue townhouse in the community (Did I mention Blue is my favorite color?!?), 3.  Having a super comfy navy blue couch, 4. Finding Gluten Free Honeynut Cheerios, 5. Watching GMA in the morning and then Kelly & Michael, 6. My abundance of scarves, 7. My loving sisters, 8. Beautiful bay window and deck to work from, 9. Having developed my own company (Gluten Free Tours in NYC), and 10. My flexibility and overall freedom!

Today I will be focusing on fixing my website and studying for my upcoming exam to become a certified Tour Guide!  Big things ahead...what are you most excited about this week?

Look out for my next post coming up today!  I will be doing weekly posts but today you get 2!

Trip to CA in 1 day!

Hey everyone!  I'm so excited tomorrow I'm leaving for a trip to California (I've never been) and I'm visiting LA & San Diego...Already have so many great sights picked out to see!  We're visiting for my 30th birthday!  We'll be in each area around a week!  I'll let you all know how it was and show some pictures!

Essential Oil 101

I am sure many of you have heard of Essential Oils either online or when you go into a Health Foods Store.  But what exactly are they and why are some so cheap and others so EXPENSIVE!
Essential Oils are Non water-based phytochemicals made up of volatile aromatic compounds.  Although they are fat soluble, they do not include fatty lipids or acids found in vegetable and animal oils. Essential oils are very clean, almost crisp, to the touch and are immediately absorbed by the skin. Pure, unadulterated essential oils are translucent and range in color from crystal clear to deep blue.
You can use Essential Oils both :  A-Aromatically (in a diffuser or a drop on your hand and cupping it to inhale) Think Diffuser, T-Topically (put them on your reflexology points and get a great benefit)
The differences between Essential Oils you find in stores that are very cheap are things:  Chemicals & Fillers!  If you find really cheap Essential Oils more than likely they are not really 100% pure as they claim.  The brand I recommend because of consistent purity and reliability is DoTERRA!  DoTERRA Essential Oils even have some Essential Oils that can be ingested because it is that pure.
¢  Essential Oils are your way to take care of you and your families Health Concerns without going to Antibiotics!  Here are some easy ways you can use DoTERRA Essential Oils in your household:   Headaches- PastTense
¢  Fever- Peppermint Essential Oil
¢  Digestive Issues- Digestzen
¢  Joint pain/Muscle Aches- Deep Blue
¢  Sunburn- Lavender, Peppermint, Frankincense, and Melaleuca
¢  Immunity- OnGuard
¢  Sinus Issues- Melaleuca
¢  Allergies- Breathe
¢  Detox- Zendocrine
¢  Weight Loss- Slim & Sassy
